Fees and Cancellation Policy

Andrew is available for full and half day mediations. Rates for half-day mediations are premised on roster mediation rates per Rule 24.1 of the Rules of Civil Procedure.

Half day sessions are available in the morning or afternoon of three (3) hours duration. Morning sessions are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and afternoon sessions are from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Full day sessions are available of seven (7) hours duration, running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• 3 parties $1,750
• 4 parties $2,000
• 5 parties $2,250

Should additional time be required, an overtime fee of $250 per hour or part thereof will be charged. HST is payable on all fees, including cancellations. The fee charged includes preparation time.

For in-person mediation session, the venue’s fees, and catering (if requested), and the mediator’s parking and mileage will be an additional charge. There is no additional charge to proceed by videoconference. For sessions outside of Toronto, a per kilometre charge will be applied. In circumstances where a flight and/or overnight stay is required, the actual cost of the flight and/or hotel will be charged.
